- Abstract
- Selena Piercy was born in 2003 in Knoxville, TN. She currently resides in Oak Ridge, TN and is a student at Sewanee: University of the South. At the beginning of the interview we discuss her background and how much she knew about the Black Lives Matter Movement, she is a supporter and she first came in contact with the movement in 2016 through social media. She was a high school student at the time and used social media and television to as source of news about the movement. In the future she hopes to see social progress fro the movement.
